Brooke has a degree in Psychology from Grace University in Omaha and was introduced to the world Equine Therapies during her time in college. Having grown up with horses, Brooke sought out a volunteer opportunity with STARS in 2015 then became PATH certified in January 2016. Brooke accepted the Executive Director position in April of 2017 and became EAGALA certified in July of 2017.
Brooke currently manages the day-to-day operations at STARS, Participant coordination, Head PATH Instructor/Mentor, Participant Billing, Event/Fundraiser planning, Grant opportunities, EAP & EAL Facilitator, and continues to teach Therapeutic Riding Classes.

Jerusha began coming to STARS in 2012 to assist with the Equine Assisted Learning program and soon found the passion for Equine Therapies. Jerusha accepted the position of Volunteer Coordintor in May of 2017, became EAGALA Certified in July of 2017, and began managing operations in July of 2019.
Jerusha currently manages the Herd & Barn at STARS, Donations, EAP & EAL Facilitator, and teaches Therapeutic Riding Classes.
